Sad to hear that our friend and neighbour, John Callaghan, has passed away.

Formerly of Blackrock, Co Cork, John, Ann, and their children moved to Bearna in the mid-1980s.

They quickly became part of the community, and were well known and liked.

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Ann, Sarah, Michael, Richard and David, and their families, on this very sad loss.

John’s remains will repose in the 'Cillin' within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Bearna, tomorrow (Tuesday) from 4-6pm. Removal into the church will follow.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated the following day at 12pm, with burial afterwards to Realt Na Mara Cemetery, Furbo.
