Mother of five, Pat has always had an “undying love for painting”, but for years her family came first.
Now that her offspring have reached adulthood, she has ditched the regular day job and is on a path that embraces her creativity!
“My artworks are painted to connect with my audiences’ emotions! I offer the viewer a piece of art to uplift and inspire them as they walk. Or an opportunity, to take five or ten minutes to escape from the day to day realities and enter a calm space to reconnect with memories of their childhood and be transported to somewhere deep within their soul.”
Pat, who predominantly works in watercolour and oils, creates paintings which are are colourful, atmospheric, and detailed, covering a wide array of themes.
“These works are inspired by the magic of my surrounding, its colours, its moods, its landscape, as well as several other captivating things I encountered on my travels.”
She has had both solo and group exhibitions in Ireland, and her works are in private collections in America, Australia, and England.
