Gardai Investigating Hair Salon Break-In

Gardai are seeking information about two men who broke into the Hair Boutique in Bearna village centre at 4am this morning (Thursday).

The Hair Boutique’s neighbour, Barcella Cafe, was broken into just three weeks earlier.

The suspects gained entry by smashing-in the bottom glass panel of the front door. There was no money in the cash register, but they did raid the charity boxes left nearby.

The owner has passed on CCTV footage of the pair, and neighbouring businesses have also provided any recordings they have from their systems.

This latest break-in comes just three weeks since the neighbouring business, Barcella Café, was targeted.
